Choir Victoria offers two audition options for prospective choristers wishing to join The Victorian Girls Choir or The Victorian Boys Choir.
Ideally, prospective choristers should be 5 to 12 years of age.
Parents may contact the choir at any time to arrange an audition for their child. The audition would be held on a convenient scheduled Choir rehearsal night (Tuesday or Friday).
Choir Victoria also holds day auditions (Saturday) for The Victorian Boys Choir and The Victorian Girls Choir annually and occasionally bi-annually. On these audition days, primary school aged children are welcome to audition with our Director of Music while parents attend an information session.
Prospective choristers are auditioned in a friendly and relaxed environment. If your child is nervous at the thought of auditioning alone, we can organize our choir leaders to sing alongside you child during an audition. For upcoming audition dates please see below.
